Cargo

barcoded armToday I started voluntarily cleaning out my desk, and no one knew. Andreas and I loudly discussed peace and resistance politics in public, and I drank a four shot decaf iced Americano. He worked on visa extension forms. I did an interview about street harassment. I pretended to brand myself in the name of art. I sold six books online as I work to unload my massive library in lieu of paying for storage space while I’m out of the country. What won’t fit in my car’s trunk and backseat will be given away or sold. Do you need a VCR, muffin tins, paperclips, or a tiny desk lamp that requires an outdated lightbulb? You can have them (except the desk lamp - it belonged to my grandpa). I will send them, no questions asked. You just pay for postage. Deal? I don’t leave the States for quite some time, but why not get a head start? Everyday is a day. We’re ending this one by watching The Assassination of Richard Nixon (and no, you can’t blame a guy for trying). I don’t link to films on Wikipedia or IMDB because those sites are primarily edited and run by men, which skews the descriptions and ratings of movies in incalculable ways. Also, driving a Volvo supports patriarchy.

Below is a lumiere video, which contains no audio. You can leave your own music playing or enjoy the silence of the moment.
